La Jolla – 7.4 Miles
See the adorable seals at the Scripps Children’s Pool and follow the coast to the famous La Jolla Cove. Do some window shopping through Girard Ave and Prospect Place for fine art and impeccable clothing. Next take a hilly run up Mt. Soledad to the Korean War Memorial, the views are “breathtaking”!

Coronado – 8.8 Miles
Check out the Hotel Del Coronado where Marilyn Monroe filmed Some Like It Hot. Run through pristine neighborhoods, along the Bay, and down Orange Avenue. Find yourself on the Silver Strand Natural Preserve, and check out our Naval Fleet as you run by the Naval Air Station North Island.
Mission Bay – 8.4 Miles
Prefer the Boardwalk? Check out San Diego’s most popular recreation destination, Mission Bay. Run by Sea World to see where Shamu lives. Run to the end of the Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach and check out the hub of PB, Garnet Ave where locals come to see and be seen.
Downtown – 10.75 Miles
Check out the Harbor to see the USS Midway, the Star of India, and spectacular views of the bay. Run through Little Italy to check out the best in Italian Eatery’s and Local San Diego Art. So some window shopping as you pass Seaport Village, and run by Pet Co Park to see where the Padres are a hit. Find yourself in the Wild West as you run through the Gaslamp District and learn firsthand the best nightclubs and restaurants San Diego has to offer.
Old Town – 3.6 Miles
Take a steep climb to the Presidio, the first mission in California. Head through Old Town to the city hall where law breakers were hung and buried, perhaps see a ghost too!
Balboa Park – 7.0 Miles
Thanks to Kate Sessions, Balboa Park is one of the most beautifully landscaped areas of San Diego. Come see the first public park west of the Mississippi, and run by the world famous San Diego Zoo. Find out what new exhibits are on display as you run past all eight museums, and if you’re lucky you can catch a free concert at the Spreckels Outdoor Organ Pavilion.
Point Loma – 12.87 Miles
This intensive trail run along the San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean also offers a lighter leg through the “downtown” Point Loma areas too. See Cabrillo National Park which includes the Old Point Loam Lighthouse, tide pools, and spectacular views of Coronado.
