New York City
is neither an old or imperial city. There are few monuments or memorials; and there’s certainly nothing majestic about the city. It does not aim to preserve or glorify history. Rather, NYC is first and foremost a working city. Its streets, its neighborhoods, its buildings and structures all serve a functional purpose. The Brooklyn Bridge is a vital artery for transport before it is a tourist attraction; Central Park serves thousands of New Yorkers daily looking to relax, workout, or escape from work and life; Times Square is nothing but a few blocks of stores with bright lights. New York City was built around its street life and the intense energy that flows through them.

Meet Our New York City Manager -
Michael Gazaleh

City Running Tours was founded by Michael Gazaleh when he recognized an opportunity to combine the health benefits of running with site-seeing in one of the nation's top tourist destinations and number one running city, New York City. A health, sports and exercise enthusiast his entire life and an avid runner for over 15 years, he wanted to bring his love of running and his passion for New York City. Through City Running Tours he has been able to share his version, of his city, in his way with runners from all over the world!

We will run at your pace, provide water and have a camera in case you feel like capturing the moment.

At the completion of the run we will return you to where you are staying and you walk away with a souvenir goody bag that includes a t-shirt as well as running and city related products.

Compliments of www.teamtreezy.com

Lead by our knowledgeable team of guides, we offer 4 and 5 mile routes to showcase the history, cultural landmarks and urban myths of our great city.

Our running tours are led at a casual, conversational pace with designated stops along the way. This is not a race and we encourage all running levels to join us. Please note group size varies from week to week and is dependent on registrations.

Runners are responsible for the arrival to and departure from the meeting location. A bottle of water will be provided for each participant.

The price of the running tour is based on the specific run offered. Most are offered at $30 per runner with exception of the Roosevelt Island Tour ($35) and our Beer Runs ($40).

For more information on a route, future dates or to sign up for a running tour click on the specific run.
