MIT CHARLES RIVER RUN - $30

Along this run your City Running Tours guide will bring you through Boston's Public Garden, to the original Cheers Bar, up Charles Street and over the Longfellow Bridge. Once across the Charles River we enter the City of Cambridge. Running along the Cambridge side of the Charles River, take in the sights of the Boston Skyline.  On the left hand side is the campus of MIT. We will stop for a picture at  the famous dome at Killian Court before heading back over the river to Boston. Once back in Boston we finish where we started at the famous Marathon finish line.  At the conclusion of the run a bottle of water is provided to each participant.

STATE HOUSE & BROWN STONE RUN - $30

From skyscrapers to brownstones this run has some of the best Boston has to offer. We start and finish this run in Boston's Back Bay. Your guide will lead you from the skyscrapers to some of the oldest neighborhood streets in Boston. We run though the modern shopping area at Downtown Crossing before entering a section of Boston's Freedom Trail. Along this route we will take you by the final resting place of some our founding fathers including Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock. We then make our way up to the Massachusetts Statehouse and the streets of Beacon Hill, which boasts some of the most desired properties in Boston. Gaslit streets and Federal Style row houses offer a relaxing experience. We will also stop for a picture on Acorn Street, said to be the most photographed street in the country. We conclude this run with a trip down the Commonwealth Ave mall before turning up to Boylston Street to the Marathon finish line.  At the conclusion of the run a bottle of water is provided to each participant.

BOSTON SEAPORT BEER RUN - $45

Starting and finishing at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston's Seaport District, enjoy a guided running tour at an easy pace through historic sights including the Old North Church and the final resting place of beer Brewer and Patriot Samuel Adams. We also run by some of Boston's most famous Pubs and Taverns including the Beantown Pub and Green Dragon. We will run to the TD Bank North Garden (home of the Bruins and Celtics) then back along the Boston Harbor to where we started. At the conclusion of the run, water and snacks will be distributed before heading into the Harpoon Brewery for a tour and sampling of some local suds. The Harpoon Brewery is well known for its IPA but once inside the brewery you will get a full taste of what they have to offer. After the brewery tour check out Harpoon's Beer Hall and have a fresh pretzel along with a pint of your new favorite brew.

NORTH END RUN - $40

This run starts in Boston's Back Bay and takes you to one of the oldest neighborhoods in the U.S. Your City Running Tours guide will lead you from Copley Square through Boston's Chinatown to the Financial district. From the Financial district we will take you to the site of the Boston Tea Party before we head up the Rose Kennedy Greenway and into the North End, known today as Boston's Little Italy, home to a vast number of fine Italian restaurants, cafes, pastry shops and Italian markets.  Your guide will lead you through the streets of the North End to the Colonial Home of Paul Revere and down Hanover Street taking in the sights, amazing aromas of food, and sounds of this charming neighborhood. We then take you to the Old North Church where Paul Revere ordered lanterns to be hung on the night of his famous midnight ride. On our way back to the Back Bay we will also cover a number of Boston's hot spots and historic sights including the TD Garden, the Old State House, and Boston Common. We will conclude the run where we started at the Marathon finish line.  At the conclusion of the run a bottle of water is provided to each participant.

FENWAY TO COPLEY RUN - $40

Starting in the Back Bay this run offers a great look into Boston sports and historic sights. Your guide will lead you from the Back Bay to the Beacon Hill area and into Boston Common. We will lead you through the first section of Boston's Emerald Necklace running through the Boston Common, Public Gardens and Commonwealth Ave. This route is great anytime of year, offering well maintained paths through our chain of parks. The highlight of this run is the most famous park in Boston - Fenway Park. After taking a loop around the outside of Fenway we head back towards the Marathon finish line. At the conclusion of the run a bottle of water is provided to each participant.

ELEVATION: MOSTLY FLAT 

TOUR DURATION: 90 MINUTES

 

BACK BAY/BEACON HILL - $40

This route offers a longer version of our 5K State House and Brownstone Run. Your City Running Tours guide will lead you from the Back Bay to Beacon Hill. Along this route we will tour two of the oldest cemeteries in the city containing the graves of some of some of our founding fathers. We will lead you through the gaslit streets of Beacon Hill, passing the Massachusetts State House, Louisburg Square, and Acorn Street. Also included on this run are the famous Cheers Bar, The Boston Public Garden, and the Commonwealth Ave Mall.  At the conclusion of the run a bottle of water is provided to each participant.

ELEVATION: MOSTLY FLAT ONE HILL

TOUR DURATION: 90 MINUTES

 

CAMBRIDGE RUN - $40

This route gives a scenic overview of Boston and its most well-known suburb, Cambridge. Starting off in the Back Bay and running over the Charles River, we go through the campus of MIT, one of the world's most famous research universities. We then cross the Mass Ave bridge and head toward Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. The run will conclude down Boylston Street to the Boston Marathon finish line. At the conclusion of the run a bottle of water is provided to each participant.

5K FENWAY RUN - $30

Get up close and personal with the home of the Boston Red Sox on this 5k jaunt through Boston's historic Back Bay/Fenway. Experience the Boston Marathon finish line, Major League Baseball's oldest ballpark, and some of the most beautiful community gardens in town the way they were meant to be experienced -- on foot! 

DISTANCE: 3.2 Miles
